Our Editorial Policy
How OlegCasino researches, reviews and fact-checks its iGaming content, and how we stay independent. 18+, T&Cs apply.
Last updated 16 July 2026
OlegCasino has been reviewing online casinos since 2023. This page explains how our content is made, who checks it, and where our figures come from, so you can judge our work on its merits rather than take it on trust.
How we produce content
Every review, guide and game page is written by a named analyst working from primary sources: the operator’s own published terms, its licensing details, and the game data supplied by studios such as Pragmatic Play, Play’n GO, Evolution and NetEnt. We do not rewrite marketing copy or lift text from other affiliate sites.
Our work is led by Elena Marsh, a Senior iGaming analyst with nine years in the industry and a focus on bonus terms, payments and live casino. Drafting starts with the specifics that matter to players — how a bonus actually unlocks, which payment methods are supported, how a slot’s mechanics behave — before any general commentary is added. When a page describes a specific title, for example Gates of Olympus by Pragmatic Play, we reference the concrete detail we can source: its pay-anywhere grid, tumbling wins and multiplier orbs, and its stated 96.5% RTP.
How we review and fact-check
No page is published without a second read. Each review carries a byline and a last-reviewed date, both shown on the page and recorded in the page’s metadata, so you can see who signed off the content and when it was last checked. Reviewers re-open the operator’s site to confirm that key claims still hold, because bonus offers, limits and available banking options change frequently.
Where a fact cannot be confirmed against a primary source, we either leave it out or state it in general terms rather than guess at a number. Internal notes flag anything that still needs a human to verify before it goes live.
How we handle bonus, RTP and licensing claims
Numeric and regulated claims — bonus percentages, wagering requirements, maximum cashouts, RTP figures, minimum and maximum deposits, payout times and licence numbers — are only stated when they come from the operator’s published data or the game studio. Licensing is reported exactly as issued: this operator is licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority under licence MGA/XXX/XXXX.
Bonus and RTP values move over time and often depend on region, so every such figure carries the same caveat: T&Cs apply, and you should verify the current terms on the operator’s site before you deposit. RTP is a long-run statistical average, not a promise about any single session, and no bonus removes the house edge.
Corrections policy
We get things wrong sometimes, and we would rather fix an error than defend it. If you spot an inaccurate figure, an out-of-date offer or a broken claim, email us at hello@luckythorne.example. We check reports against the operator’s current data, update the page, and refresh the last-reviewed date so the correction is visible.
Advertising and independence
OlegCasino is an independent affiliate, published by Thorne Media Ltd. We earn commission when readers sign up with operators through our links, and that is how the site is funded. Commercial arrangements never buy a better score or a softer review: our ratings and recommendations are decided by the editorial team, and the affiliate side of the business has no say over them. You can read more in our affiliate disclosure.
OlegCasino is for adults aged 18 and over. Gambling is a form of entertainment, not a way to make money or solve financial problems, and you should only ever stake what you can afford to lose. If it stops being fun, please see our responsible gambling resources for support. 18+, T&Cs apply.
